Week 01 | Strategy
We’ll get aligned on your business goals for the website with a questionnaire about your business and a kick-off call to start the project.

Week 02 | Structure
The structure and flow of every page is mapped out in black and white before any design is touched. Everything is intentionally structured to connect with your ideal customer and smoothly guide them towards conversion, while proactively addressing their concerns and positioning your expertise as their guide.

Week 03 | Creative Direction
We’ll explore fonts, colors, and imagery appropriate for your target audience. You’ll approve or choose a visual path from the 1-3 options presented so you’re in control of the direction.

Week 04 | Design & Build
Fonts, colors, imagery, and copywriting are applied to the full website build. Everything is built in Squarespace at this step and styled for your brand, based on our strategy.

Week 05 | Refine & Launch
You’ll do a full review of the completed website and I’ll complete my own walkthrough of all my work to make sure everything is ready. Then we’ll make sure your domain and hosting get set up properly and your site gets connected and published.
I will also provide your new website Owner’s Document and 2 weeks of free post-launch support.
How I make the custom process easy
✓ Squarespace makes it easy to manage updates
My goal is to hand you a website you can easily manage, but is still custom for your brand. Once the finished website is transferred to you, Squarespace’s drag-and-drop editor makes it easy to make your own updates going forward. But if you need more help, I’m here for ongoing work too.
✓ Post-launch support
After your website is built, it will be transferred to your Squarespace account as the new owner, and I’ll be here to provide free post-launch support for 2 weeks.
✓ Dedicated project hub & collaboration
I strategically craft a plan for the website and show you the steps I’m taking along the way in a dedicated private project hub. You’ll get to weigh in on the strategy, content, layout, and styling decisions before the full website is built in Squarespace.
✓ Giving you control over your website
I believe in giving my clients the most control and security possible both during andafter the project. I do this by being mindful of the experience you’ll have with the completed website. That means using a website builder you can use too if you want to, with or without me involved. That way, you’re not dependent on paying me for basic site updates or just to keep it running. Building in a closed environment like Squarespace also eliminates the kinds of risks you’d be taking on with an AI-generated website.
Any custom code I use is accessible to you in your own website account, and is only for customizing and styling the website – it’s not needed to make it run.

A non-refundable deposit is required to book your project.
Invoices are sent via secure payment link where you can use the payment method of your choice and save copies for your records.

Yes. You will have full ownership of your website and full editing capabilities.
I will walk you through how to manage your website after delivery. If there are any questions or issues you have after launch, I will be available to you to help solve them for 2 weeks.

Yes, I do provide full copywriting for the sections in your website. I can also use what you have already established for your brand messaging.

You’ll usually have at least a week before the project starts to upload your content to a folder in our private project hub where I can access it once we begin.
In my custom builds, content is not required up front, but will be determined after our website strategy sessions.

Yes, your SEO foundations will be included and your pages structured and written to be AI-search friendly.
