Q & A

  • All templates are built for the latest version of Squarespace.

  • Getting started simply requires a free Squarespace account. Once your template is transferred to you, you will set up your own billing with Squarespace to launch your website.

  • Yes! I offer support for any template-related issues and questions. However, I do not provide free support for Squarespace questions as they have excellent tutorials and support already available.

  • You will need a domain name if you don’t already have one, and hosting in order to launch your website. Both of these can be purchased through Squarespace once your new site is ready.

  • Some of the templates include custom CSS to add cool features to the style. However, you will not need to know how to code in order to use the website.

    Instructions will be provided for any CSS included in case you do want to edit it yourself, but it’s not necessary.

  • Squarespace provides free templates that are great for people just starting out and who don’t mind a website that might look like everyone else’s.

    CSD’s premium templates take a step beyond the crowd and are designed by a professional with strategic insight to make them perform the way they should for your business needs, not just look pretty.

  • Squarespace is DIY friendly and great for beginners and professionals alike. You don’t have to be an expert to customize your template, and if you need help, you can always reach out with your questions.

  • The template gets added to your Squarespace account as a new website with a 3-month trial period. All you need to do is accept the invitation link we send and it will appear in your Squarespace dashboard ready to work with. After you’ve accepted the invitation, the site ownership transfers to you.

  • Whenever possible, the templates use free / Google fonts or pre-licensed custom fonts so you don’t have to license anything.

    If a template uses a font that requires an additional license it will be noted in the purchase area and installation instructions for that template.

    Most templates feature free stock images and videos. There are some that use images from paid stock photo subscriptions. Any usage restrictions will be noted accordingly in the purchase area and installation instructions for each template.

  • Absolutely. CSD’s Squarespace website templates have been strategically designed to follow SEO and AIO best practices in terms of layout and structure.

    Every template layout comes optimized for mobile. Just be sure to check it after swapping out your information.

    Each template also has SEO basics installed, which you can edit yourself or using Squarespace’s AI after you make your changes, customizing as much or as little as you like.

  • If you already have a working website, you’ll need to disconnect your domain from the old site and reconnect it to your new website once you’re ready to launch the new site. You will also need to pay for hosting (monthly or yearly) the new site on Squarespace with a pricing plan.

    Squarespace support will guide you through the process of configuring your domain.

  • Due to the digital nature of CSD’s products, the website templates are non-refundable.
