LaCour Stoneworks is a custom countertop company located in Denver, CO. They specialize in Soapstone and also offer a variety of stone for custom countertop design and installation.
With over a decade of experience in the industry, they were ready to set themselves apart by showcasing their high-quality, customer-first, educational approach to business. Together we created a logo, brand colors, fonts, and a core website to get them started.
The brand feel was to be experienced, high-quality, easy-to-work-with, modern, and earthy.

Setting The Mood
LCS was ultimately drawn to the concept of having a representation of the Colorado mountains in the logo, and we felt this represented the spirit of the company well.
The color choices reflected the earthy and personal-yet-professional aesthetic of the company, while the fonts showed the structured side and craftsmanship of the brand personality.

Final Logo Versions
Design thinking: If you were to outline the secondary logo, it would mimic the shape of a mountain range as well. This is picked up subconsciously in the mind of the viewer, reinforcing the design language of the brand.
